On Thursday, 6th November 2025, SHAM INSTITUTE, Mangalore, in collaboration with KMC Hospital Attavar, hosted a comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) training session designed specifically for our certification batch students. Led by Dr. Kashyap, MBBS, MD, Consultant in the Department of Emergency Medicine at KMC Hospital, the session equipped participants with essential life-saving techniques crucial for responding to medical emergencies both on the ground and in-flight.
Through hands-on demonstrations and guided practice—including CPR techniques and emergency response protocols—students gained confidence and competence in delivering immediate care during critical situations. The training emphasized the importance of preparedness, precision, and compassion, aligning perfectly with the high-stakes responsibilities of aviation professionals.
This initiative reflects our commitment to holistic student development, ensuring students not only technically skilled but also empowered to act swiftly and effectively in life-threatening scenarios.
